QUEST is an interactive and collaborative social project lead by artist and pyschotherapist Noula Diamantopoulos focused on community involvement and engagement.

During Sydney Contemporary, participants are invited to engage in a silent conversation of questions only, in which the dialogue is handwritten and no talking is allowed.

This unique process of Q&Q calls participants to be curious, to think outside of the box, and consider if the answers we seek can actually be revealed in the questions we ask.

A short demonstration detailing the process of making a variety of zines and small art books. This showcase will cover the use of print materials to effectively design, assemble, and produce unique zines.

Across theatre, dance, and performance art, directors, choreographers, and visual artists are experimenting with the body in new and thoughtful ways. How is this experimentation reshaping the once rigid identities of theatres and museums? With audiences increasingly culturally omnivorous, how are they taking to works that resist easy classification? What are the triumphs, challenges, and opportunities in breaking down these artistic boundaries? A look into one of the most innovative areas in the cultural landscape.

Explore the new perspectives and artistic practices of some of the exciting and ambitious First Nations artists showing at Sydney Contemporary. Agency will be leading daily tours with artists and industry experts to share their insights into the scope and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art. Join independent curators and exhibiting artists at one of the free daily tours, commencing at 1.00pm from the Info Point.

Agency is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander visual arts organisation that seeks to create new perspectives and platforms to celebrate First Nations art, culture and people on a national and international scale.

Tours meet at the info point, and will run for roughly 45 minutes.

The origami monoprint is a fantastic technique for warming up in the studio. Simple, playful and effective, one can make endless geometric and abstract prints with minimal material.
