Art Night

Art Night, the opening night of Sydney Contemporary on Thursday 5 September from 5.30pm – 9pm, presents an all-encompassing evening of art, live performances, and music! Catch performances throughout the evening by cutting-edge contemporary artists including HOSSEI, listen to a special DJ set, explore the large-scale artworks in Installation Contemporary, and of course see and buy works of art by over 400 emerging and established artists across 85+ galleries.

Friday Night

Kick off your weekend with a visit to Sydney Contemporary for Friday Night! Enjoy live musical performances curated especially for the Fair by electronic harpist Jake Meadows and jazz trio Mike Nock Trio. Savour delicious food and drink pop-ups throughout the evening, all while discovering new artworks from over 400 artists presented by 80+ leading galleries —all for sale! Then, end your evening by dining at one of our partner Art + Dine partner restaurants. It’s the perfect blend of culture, music and cuisine!

Premium+ Pass

The Premium+ Pass provides visitors with an exclusive experience of Sydney Contemporary. Ticket holders get early access to the Fair for the exclusive Collector Preview Day on Wednesday 4 September, 2-8pm where they can be the first to see and buy works of art by over 400 emerging and established artists across 85+ galleries. The Premium+ Pass also includes a glass of wine by Yalumba, plus admission to all days of the Fair, including Art Night, the opening night party on Thursday 5 September, 5.30pm-9pm as well as access to the Sydney Contemporary Terrace Lounge, exclusive to VIP Pass holders and Premium+ Pass holders.
