Friday Night

Kick off your weekend with a visit to Sydney Contemporary for Friday Night! Enjoy live musical performances curated especially for the Fair by electronic harpist Jake Meadows and jazz group Mike Nock Trio. Savour delicious food and drink pop-ups throughout the evening, all while discovering new artworks from over 400 artists presented by 85+ leading galleries —all for sale! Then, end your evening by dining at one of our partner Art + Dine restaurants. It’s the perfect blend of culture, music and cuisine!

Jake Meadows

Acclaimed harpist Jake Meadows will present a special musical performance in a one-of-a-kind auditory experience. Using one of humanity’s oldest instruments, the harp, Meadows will premiere his new album ‘Archetypes’. The performance will take listeners on a journey through refreshingly original sounds achieved via the nature of the electronic harp.

Mike Nock Trio

A three-piece jazz ensemble, the Mike Nock Trio, made up of legendary jazz musicians Mike Nock, Jonathan Zwartz, and Hamish Stuart, will perform two 45-minute sessions, showcasing one of Australia’s great musical partnerships.

Food & Drink

Enjoy a wide selection of delicious food and beverage experiences. Campari will once again return with their Campari Bar within the new WORKS ON PAPER sector, and Four Pillars will serve a range of specialty cocktails and the brand’s cult-favourites. Yalumba will offer fine and rare wine across the Fair, while illy Caffé will pour coffee and cold brew, celebrating their latest artist collaboration for their signature white cups with Lee Ufan as part of their long-standing illy Art Collection. New partners to the Fair, Champagne Pommery and Hellyers Road Distillery, will share special offerings.
