Sydney Contemporary, in partnership with MA Financial Group, will return to Carriageworks from 5-8 September 2024 for four days of ambitious gallery presentations, large-scale installations, experimental live performances, engaging panel discussions, champagne and spectacle!
Presenting over 85 leading galleries from Australia, New Zealand, and beyond, Sydney Contemporary is the place to engage with diverse contemporary art practices, presented across three sectors, Galleries, Future, and WORKS ON PAPER.
What's New At Sydney Contemporary 2024
Start your weekend at the fair for Friday Night! Experience live music from electronic harpist Jake Meadows and jazz group Mike Nock Trio. Indulge in delicious food and drinks, and cap off the evening with dinner at our partner Art + Dine restaurants.
A fair within the Fair, WORKS ON PAPER is a dedicated sector showcasing the best of works on paper, including printmaking, watercolours, drawings, photographs, zines, and more. From renowned masters to emerging talents, there’s something for everyone.
For Art Night, the opening celebration on Thursday 5 Sept, the Performance Contemporary program will bring the space to life, curated by Sam Watson-Wood, Director of Friends with Strangers.
