Terms and Conditions: Sydney Contemporary Giveaway (Sydney Fish Market Prize)

1) Promoter and Prize Provider

The promoter is ART FAIRS AUSTRALIA PTY LTD ABN 17 152 863 495, 216 Crown Street Darlinghurst NSW 2010, (Promoter). The Promoter is solely responsible for conducting this Giveaway, including hosting the entry form, collecting entries, selecting the winner, and notifying the winner.
Sydney Fish Market Pty Ltd, ABN 24 064 254 306, of 1 Bridge Road, Glebe NSW 2037 (Prize Provider), is providing the Sydney Seafood School voucher component of the prize only. The Prize Provider is not responsible for, and has no control over, the conduct of this Giveaway, including the entry process, winner selection or winner notification.
The Prize Provider may promote this Giveaway through its own marketing channels, including social media and email, provided that any such promotion directs entrants to the official entry method described in clause 4 and does not represent the Prize Provider as responsible for conducting the Giveaway.

2) Promotion Period

The promotion runs from 12:00am Monday 24 August 2026 to 11:59pm Sunday 30 August 2026 (AEST) (Promotion Period). The Promoter reserves the right to alter the Promotion Period at any time with reasonable prior notice.

3) Eligibility

Entry is open only to residents of New South Wales, aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
Employees of the Promoter and the Prize Provider, their associated agencies, retailers, contractors, and the immediate families of each, are not eligible to participate.

4) Entry Method

No purchase is necessary to enter. To participate, individuals must submit their details via https://sydneycontemporary.com.au/giveaway-sss/ within the Promotion Period.
The entry form includes a separate, unticked checkbox by which entrants may choose to opt in to receive marketing communications from the Promoter (Sydney Contemporary).
The entry form includes a further separate, unticked checkbox by which entrants may choose to opt in to receive marketing communications from the Prize Provider (Sydney Fish Market) and Sydney Seafood School.
Entrants are not required to select either opt-in in order to enter this Giveaway. Selecting neither, either, or both opt-ins has no effect on an entrant’s eligibility to win.

5) Limit on Entries

Limit of one (1) entry per person during the Promotion Period.

6) Prizes

There is one (1) Grand Prize to be won. The Grand Prize consists of:

Two (2) Premium+ Passes to Sydney Contemporary at Carriageworks, valued at $390 combined, valid 2 September – 6 September during opening hours and
a $400 voucher to Sydney Seafood School.

The Promoter and Prize Provider estimate the total value of the Grand Prize to be $790.

7) Prize Conditions

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, in whole or in part.
The prize does not include transport, accommodation, food, beverage (other than what is included with the Sydney Seafood School voucher) or any other costs associated with using the prize. All such costs are the winner’s sole responsibility.
The Premium+ Passes are subject to Sydney Contemporary’s own event conditions of entry. Details are subject to change, including cancellation or rescheduling, for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control. If this occurs, no substitution will be provided.
The $400 Sydney Seafood School voucher is a Sydney Fish Market Experience Gift Card, valid for 3 years from the date of issue for redemption at Sydney Seafood School. The voucher can be used for any Sydney Fish Market Experience. If the experience exceeds the voucher’s value, the balance will be payable by the winner at the time of booking. If the booking value is less than the voucher amount, the remaining value is stored for future use. The voucher cannot be redeemed for cash value. See clause 9 (Redemption) for how the voucher will be provided to the winner.
All prizes are subject to availability and any conditions imposed by Sydney Contemporary or Sydney Seafood School.

8) Winner Selection

The Giveaway is a game of chance. One (1) winner will be selected by random draw by the Promoter from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. All eligible entrants have an equal chance of being drawn.
The winner will be announced on Monday 31 August 2026 and notified by direct email only, using the details provided at entry. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner (Redraw). The redraw process will repeat the above winner selection process.

9) Redemption

A. The Premium+ Passes will be sent by email to the winner’s nominated email address.
The Sydney Seafood School voucher will be sent by email to the winner’s nominated email address by the Prize Provider.
Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. Lost, stolen or damaged prizes will not be replaced.
The Giveaway and/or prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other existing promotion, offer or privilege, unless otherwise stated.

10) Verification

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants, and to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry that is not valid.

11) Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained in connection with the conduct of this Giveaway, the entry process, or the Premium+ Passes component of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

The Promoter may amend these Terms and Conditions, or suspend, cancel or terminate the Giveaway, where reasonably necessary, including for reasons outside the Promoter’s control, and will take reasonable steps to notify entrants of any material change.

12) Privacy

Entrants’ personal information is collected by the Promoter in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy https://sydneycontemporary.com.au/privacy-policy/ for the purpose of conducting this Giveaway.
If an entrant selects the opt-in described in clause 4B, their personal information will also be used by the Promoter to send them marketing communications, in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
If an entrant selects the opt-in described in clause 4C, their personal information will be shared with and used by Sydney Fish Market, in accordance with Sydney Fish Market’s Privacy Policy at https://www.sydneyfishmarket.com.au/legal/, to send them marketing communications from Sydney Fish Market and Sydney Seafood School.
An entrant who does not select either opt-in will not be added to either marketing database; their personal information will only be used for the purposes of conducting this Giveaway and delivering the prize.

13) General

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This promotion is conducted in accordance with the laws of New South Wales.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta/Instagram/Facebook.
