“Join Antonia Perricone-Mrljak to discuss her latest body of work at Sydney Contemporary 2025.
The daughter of Italian immigrants to Australia, Antonia’s background has defined her sense of identity and underpins all aspects of her artistic process.
For Antonia, memory and mark-making have a symbiotic relationship, and are each connected not only on the canvas in the present, but from the human and environmental influences of the past.
“”The whole of our actions and desires are bound up with the existence of other human beings“ she states. “”My works are a culmination of all that has gone before me and all that comes after. I invite the viewer to make their own judgment. To experience the works in relationship to their own humanity.””

Hosted by FHE Galleries.

Location: Booth I04 – FHE Galleries, Carriageworks.

“Join for a conversation led by Gallery Director and Founder Emily Parker, delving into the gallery’s presentation and the evolving role of printmaking in contemporary art.
Known for its immersive, process-driven and tactile nature, printmaking continues to push conceptual and material boundaries. This talk will explore the innovative practices behind the works on show and offer insights into why print and paper-based artworks are increasingly resonating with collectors – both as distinctive standalone pieces and as meaningful additions to broader collections.”

Hosted by PARKER Contemporary.

Location: Booth B14 – PARKER Contemporary.

Artists will discuss their processes in creating the artworks using the prints on display in the booth as examples. The blocks and tools used to create the works will be on display. Visitors will be able to experience the texture and feel of the blocks and gain insight into a variety of printmaking techniques.

Hosted by 3 Studios

Gary Shinfield will present artist-made prints and other works on paper made in his studio. Guest artists Nathalie Gautier-Hartog and Seong Cho will also present their prints.
