Australasia's Premier Art Fair

Sydney Contemporary brings together an unparalleled selection of contemporary art, showcasing works by leading and emerging artists from the finest galleries across Australasia and beyond.

With thousands of artworks on display from more than 100 exhibitors, the Fair offers everything from accessible editions and paintings to museum-quality sculpture and large-scale installations. Every artwork is for sale, with something to suit every taste, every space, every budget and every stage of collecting.

Four Distinct Sectors

The Galleries sector presents a curated mix of solo and group exhibitions from leading galleries, offering new and important works across every medium.

Launched in 2025, Photo Sydney is a dedicated fair-wthin-a-fair spotlighting the best of contemporary photography,  from documentary and conceptual work to large-scale experimental practice. A significant new platform for photographers, collectors and anyone who has ever wanted to start collecting photography.

A platform for the next generation. The Future sector is dedicated to young galleries that have been operating for five years or less, presenting curated solo or duo exhibitions of new work. It is consistently one of the most exciting parts of the fair — the place to discover artists and galleries before everyone else does.

The Works on Paper sector showcases the best of national and international contemporary works on paper — watercolours, drawings, artist books, prints and editions. One of the most accessible entry points for new collectors, and a rich hunting ground for those who already collect.
