Artists Talk: In Conversation | Shooting Stars: Five Contemporary Photographers

Michael Reid Sydney + Berlin is delighted to host an exclusive In Conversation event with five of the most accomplished and influential artists working in the field of contemporary photography: Petrina Hicks, Tamara Dean, Narelle Autio, Gerwyn Davies and Scott Perkins. Speaking with Michael Reid Galleries’ director Toby Meagher, each artist will reflect on the ideas, inspirations and decisive moments that have shaped their careers and informed their distinct approaches to the defining medium of our time. This special event offers a rare and intimate opportunity for collectors, fair attendees and photography enthusiasts to engage directly with Australian photography’s leading figures, all of whom will present new or previously unseen bodies of work at Sydney Contemporary 2025.
