Established in 2020, BTWNLNS is a multidisciplinary space bringing together books, furniture and spatial practice. It represents a carefully curated selection of independent publications sourced from around the world in partnership with do you read me?! Berlin.
Alongside this, BTWNLNS represents contemporary furniture and design brands—including New Tendency, Loehr, OUT, and Neo/Craft from Berlin, alongside its newest additions, Pani Jurek from Poland and Lehni from Switzerland. It also offers furniture consultation and interior architecture services.
Beyond the day-to-day business, an ongoing program of artist talks, book launches, performances, exhibitions and installations is fostering the dialogue across art, architecture, and design.
The variety of inspiring collaborators include design and architecture faculties at Sydney’s universities, as well as creative partners such as Semi-Permanent, Andpeople, Sydney Design Week, Adidas, Song for the Mute, Paramount House Hotel, NGV’s Melbourne Art Book Fair, Tokyo Art Book Fair, Sydney Contemporary Art Fair and Chanel Culture Fund, among many others.
