New Books/Old Hands

New Books/Old Hands is a table of artists’ books and zines by Marian Crawford, Jan Davis, Olga Sankey and Jan Palethorpe. These women first met as young artists and so impressed each other with their skills, their cleverness, their culinary skills and fashion coolness, that they enthusiastically supported each others’ parallel careers even as they became dispersed across the country.

In recent times they have regrouped and brought their experience and energy together to mount shared exhibitions and dine out together from Ballina to Broken Hill to Swan Hill. The artists of New Books/Old Hands are still impressing each other.
