Curatorial+Co. began as a curated online art gallery and exhibition pop-up concept supporting emerging artists in 2015. Launching its first permanent exhibition space in Redfern, Sydney, in 2020, the gallery has grown to support 40+ Australian and international emerging and mid-career artists, across all mediums, with its monthly exhibition program and art consultancy. With 80% of its stable being female identifying artists, the gallery is passionate about re-correcting the gender divide. In May 2023, Curatorial+Co. moved to an outstanding gallery space on William St Woolloomooloo, Sydney, to provide further visibility for its artists. Founder and Director, Sophie Vander, is committed to supporting emerging artists and their career growth by providing opportunities both inside and outside the gallery walls, and facilitating the connections between collectors and artists so that both parties benefit from growth, understanding and appreciation. The Curatorial+Co. team is dedicated to promoting artistic quality, integrity, accessibility, distinction, experimentation, and diversity.
