Artists whose paintings cost hundreds of thousands of dollars nearly always make limited edition prints that sell for a fraction of the price. These are original works from the artist’s hand, and just as collectable. Chuck Close, for example, now costs millions of dollars for an original painting, and his prints are collected by major museums throughout the world.
