Three-time Sydney Contemporary artist, Kate Banazi, is in conversation with Curatorial+Co. Director, Sophie Vander, about her latest and most personal solo show – ‘Back Hips Bone Lips’. Entering the next stage of her life, Kate delves into the intricacies of using her changing body for and within her work. “After so many years of basing my ideas on the drawings of others it felt apt to focus on my own form as I enter the next phase of my life. My body is changing and the relationship I have with it is being pushed into unlearning.”
