NO FANTASY is a bespoke gallery offering strategic representation to a select group of artists shaping Australia’s art discourse locally and internationally. Our artists’ practices are characterised by rigour, critical engagement and a strong personal aesthetic. Central is the examination of entrenched historical narratives and power structures, and a vision for change.

Resolutely committed to keeping our gallery stable small and rigorously selective, we focus on excellence and impact over scale. The gallery has consciously evolved into a nimble and strategic agency, shifting away from a high-frequency exhibition model toward one centred on international markets, art fairs, off-site projects and cross-disciplinary collaborations. This includes partnerships with designers and architects, commissioned works, and curated presentations both in Australia and abroad.

NO FANTASY Directors Dianne Tanzer and Nicola Stein draw on years of combined experience to champion our artists and propel their career trajectories. We aim to realise our artists’ ambitions through rigorous selection, strategic advocacy and a commitment to excellence within a distinctive and globally engaged program.
