| Founded in 2006, Dominik Mersch Gallery (DMG) is a Sydney-based contemporary art gallery dedicated to presenting conceptually rigorous and aesthetically compelling practices. Working closely with artists across all career stages, DMG fosters long-term relationships that support the development and presentation of ambitious contemporary work.
DMG primarily represents Australian and European artists whose practices are intellectually engaged and materially refined. A core focus of the gallery is creating meaningful cross-cultural dialogue, introducing international artists to Australian audiences while actively championing Australian artists locally and abroad. Located in a light-filled industrial loft in Rushcutters Bay, DMG’s exhibition program extends beyond the physical space through the integration of virtual tour technology and online exhibitions, expanding audience access and engagement. The gallery is committed to innovation in how contemporary art is experienced, combining traditional exhibition formats with evolving digital platforms.
