D Lan Galleries

D LAN GALLERIES was founded in Melbourne in 2016 by D’Lan Davidson, a leading art consultant, dealer, and gallerist specialising in Australian First Nations art for over twenty years. The gallery presents regular exhibitions of modern and contemporary art by leading Australian First Nations artists, alongside a dynamic program of educational talks and events designed to celebrate and promote the rich art and culture of Australia’s first peoples.

In May 2023, D LAN GALLERIES opened a space on East 81st Street in New York, enabling the gallery to engage with collectors and communities and promote Australian First Nations art to a wider U.S. audience through a series of curated exhibitions. Following an enthusiastic reception from New York collectors, a new, larger gallery on East 73rd Street now presents exhibitions featuring living Australian First Nations artists, accompanied by a schedule of events and educational programming.

In November 2024, D LAN GALLERIES established an exciting new permanent gallery presence in Sydney on Queen Street, Woollahra.

With the core belief that Australian First Nations Art stands alongside the greatest art in the world, D LAN GALLERIES aims to engage and educate global audiences while elevating Australian First Nations art on the international stage.
