PATRICIA PICCININI, 'THE FIELD' AT SYDNEY CONTEMPORARY
"WHAT IS NATURAL AND WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL? WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN WE CHANGE NATURE?" - PATRICIA PICCININI
The Field, developed for Piccinini’s amazing survey 2018 show at GOMA, was re-imagined for Sydney Contemporary in the Elston Room at Carriageworks. This was the first time this work was be seen outside of a museum, and gave viewers the chance to immerse themselves inside the fantastic world of one of Australia’s best known artists. This is made possible by innovative architectural solutions company Bondor, who are pushing creative boundaries and collaborating with leading artists to realise their visions. ‘The Field’ is also supported by Aon and Hiscox.
