Join Western Australian artists Merrick Belyea and Kevin Roberston for a talk about their new works in Vantage Point: Land, Sea, Sky, a group exhibition presented by Art Collective WA which explores the essence of WA’s diverse natural landscapes through the lenses of five renowned artists. Often depicting dense bush landscapes entangled with figurative forms, Antony Muia’s paintings make clear and poignant observations of our human history and trajectory seen from an otherworldly perspective. While Jon Tarry’s new sculptural wall and floor works play with optical fields and create a deep visceral presence on surfaces, rendered in rich blues reminiscent of the Western Australia’s vivid skyline.
