Join artist Daniel Agdag and MARS Gallery Booth I06 to hear from the artist about his practice and the process of working with cardboard!
Daniel Agdag is a Naarm/Melbourne based artist and filmmaker. He works primarily in the medium of cardboard, a medium he manipulates and elevates to formidable heights through his impossibly intricate and exacting sculptures.
Drawn to the utilitarian origins and monochromatic presentation of his primary material cardboard, Agdag creates a paradox of fragility and strength with structures that resemble architectural forms and machines by using a medium that is essentially paper.
