Artist Booth Talk: Sandra Black

Join exhibiting artist Sandra Black at Art Collective WA Booth B12 as she discusses more than five decades of working with porcelain and the ideas behind her new works presented at Sydney Contemporary 2026. Drawing on journeys across Western Australia, from the South West to the Pilbara, Sandra translates her experience of landscape through finely constructed vessels that explore light, form and surface. Following her recent survey exhibition, Sandra Black: Holding Light at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Sandra will offer insight into different places that have informed her celebrated ceramic practice.
