Sydney Contemporary Online will be live from Wednesday 6 September, 2pm until Sunday 17 September 2023 at midnight.

Sydney Contemporary Online features 95+ galleries presenting the work of over 450 artists with prices ranging from AU$35 to AU$970,000! There is something to suit every budget and taste: paintings, drawings, sculpture, installation, video, multiples, prints and ceramics and more! 

Sydney Contemporary Online is designed to be navigated by gallery, artist or artworks. Please select from the menu headings – Galleries, Artists and Artworks

Galleries– 
The galleries are listed alphabetically, or you can type in the gallery name to find them quickly. Clicking on your chosen gallery will bring you to a dedicated page for that gallery, showcasing their presentation. 

Artists– 
If you’re looking for work by a particular artist, navigate to the Artists page and view the alphabetical list. Clicking on the artist will take you to a page for that artist, showcasing all the work they have on the platform and some biographical information. If you’re looking for a specific artist, you can type in the artist’s name for a quicker search. 

Artworks– 
This is where it gets fun! Viewing the Artworks page will take you to an illustrated list of all artworks on the site. You can filter by mediums and price to discover the perfect artwork for you! You can also select ‘emerging artist’ to discover up and coming talent! 

You will need to insert the lowest and approx highest based on what is in the catalogue.

Everything on Sydney Contemporary Online is for sale.

When you find an artwork you like, click “Enquire” and a dropdown webform will appear. Fill out the webform and press submit. A copy of your message along with auto-generated artwork details will be sent to the representing gallery. Alternatively, you can call the gallery on the phone number listed on the artwork or gallery page.

All sales are arranged directly with the gallery, and no payments are taken by Sydney Contemporary. The site will be updated along as way as works sell, however it is best to get in quick!

Underneath the gallery contact details are buttons for Facebook, Email and Twitter. Clicking any of these will let you share the artwork to that platform. If you want to copy a direct link to that artwork, click “copy link”. 

You have good taste. Click “Enquire about more available works” and let the gallery know you’re interested. They may have other works available and can let you know about upcoming exhibitions and opportunities to acquire available by the artist. 

All sales and shipping arrangements will be made between the purchaser and the gallery. This platform does not automatically ship your goods. 

Prices can be in different currencies. Therefore, it will be noted whether the price is inclusive of Australian 10% GST. Goods and services tax (GST) is a broad-based tax of 10% on most goods, services and other items sold or consumed in Australia.
